Check out Brent Sparrow Jr.’s ʔəlqsən art installation, meaning “point of land”. His carvings feature a thunderbird, eagle, salmon and sockeye, which represent “symbols of protection and enlightment.” You can see it in person at the UBC Vancouver Campus, just minutes away from leləm̓.

leləm̓ is committed to empower Musqueam artists by providing them a platform to express themselves. We have big plans to showcase their art in the community, in a variety of ways.

Stay tuned as we embark upon the multiple projects to bring indigenous artists’ creations to life! To learn more about Brent’s art, visit here: https://bit.ly/3yOOFbV
