#ThingstoDoAtlelemCheck out Brent Sparrow Jr.’s ʔəlqsən art installation, meaning “point of land”. His carvings feature a thunderbird, eagle, salmon and sockeye, which represent “symbols of protection and enlightment.” You can see it in person at the UBC Vancouver Campus, just minutes away from leləm̓.leləm̓ is committed to empower Musqueam artists by providing them a platform to express themselves. The Musqueam of Anthropology (MOA) promotes awareness of different cultures through programs and partnerships with Indigenous communities.
